Biography of Jeffrey Clark, M.A.

Jeffrey Clark has been providing professional counseling and psychological services in a variety of forms for the past 30 years. He has worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings with a wide variety of client populations.

For the past 12 years Mr. Clark’s professional focus has been providing treatment for court ordered individuals who have been convicted of a domestic violence-related offense. This treatment has been psychoeducational in nature with Mr. Clark integrating basic domestic violence treatment principles using a Cognitive Behavioral therapeutic approach. Mr. Clark has been instrumental in creating a model of treatment for perpetrators of domestic violence that has combined the knowledge, wisdom and expertise of both the mental health and corrections systems to create an effective hybrid model of treatment for domestic violence offenders.

As part of his work to educate others and eradicate domestic violence, Mr. Clark has been active in a variety of community forums including participating in media presentations via television, radio, local newspapers and live presentations. He has been a member of a local consortium to end domestic violence and has worked with corrections officials to create the innovative and effective hybrid model of treatment that continues to be used today.
